Where Ideas Meet Innovation
Tech Ideathon 2026 is a global idea-presentation hackathon jointly organized by VIT Mauritius and The Institution of Engineers and Scientists (IOES), to be conducted entirely in virtual mode.
This innovation-driven Ideathon invites Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Ph.D. students, as well as working professionals, who are actively engaged or interested in emerging domains such as Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), Sustainable Solutions, Next-Generation Technologies, or who possess innovative ideas aimed at making society better, smarter, and more inclusive.
Tech Ideathon 2026 is designed as an idea-presentation-based hackathon, where participants will present theme-based innovative concepts rather than complete products. All submissions will undergo critical evaluation by an esteemed panel of judges drawn from academia, industry, and research organizations. Outstanding ideas will be recognized and rewarded.
Beyond competition, the Ideathon emphasizes learning and growth. Participants will receive constructive feedback, expert suggestions, and mentorship from judges, helping them refine their ideas, explore real-world applications, and potentially transform promising concepts into viable startups or research initiatives.
Tech Ideathon Mauritius 2026 serves as a premier innovation platform that encourages participants to step away from routine thinking and step into the world of problem-solving, leadership, and impact creation—shaping ideas that matter for the future of society.
