Team Formation

Team Size & Structure

  • Participants can register as individuals or in teams of 2-4 members
  • Each team must designate one team leader for registration and communication
  • Solo participants may join teams during the event networking session

Team Diversity

  • Teams can be interdisciplinary, combining expertise from different domains
  • Team members can be from different institutions or organizations
  • We encourage diverse teams with varied skill sets for innovative solutions

Idea Requirements

Originality & Innovation

  • Ideas must be original and innovative, created during the ideathon period
  • Solutions should align with one or more Tech-Ideathon 2026 themes
  • Pre-existing ideas or code libraries are not allowed as primary submissions

Technical Feasibility

  • Teams must demonstrate technical feasibility and potential real-world impact
  • Presentation PPT and demonstration video link (if available) must be submitted by deadline
  • Ideas should showcase innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills

Participation Rules

Registration & Attendance

  • All participants must register before February 14, 2026
  • Participants must be present (in-person or virtual) during the ideathon period (February 27-28, 2026)
  • Late registrations may be accepted on a case-by-case basis subject to availability

Code of Conduct

  • Plagiarism or use of pre-existing ideas will result in immediate disqualification
  • Teams must present their ideas to judges during the designated time slot
  • All participants must follow the Tech-Ideathon 2026 Code of Conduct
  • Respectful collaboration and ethical innovation are expected from all participants
